Educational Background: Zhejiang Institute of Science and Technology, Masters in Management.Professional Qualifications: Worked in (SASAC) the State-owned Asset Supervision and Administration Commission, as an Administrator and Policy Department Head. Formerly he worked In government, industry, and agriculture. Mr. YAO joined Shenzhen Capital Group in 2009 and is responsible for investment risk control and human resources management.

Mr. Dongsheng SUN: Vice President, Secretary of the Board
Educational Background: Japan’s Osaka University, Ph.D in Physics, former Professor of Shandong University.
Professional Qualifications: A former Japanese Trade and Industry Researcher at the Industrial Technology Institute, Japan Small Business Association (Foundation) Fellow. Dr. SUN has deep knowledge in medium-sized investment in Japan's industrial sector and capital investment strategy in Asia. He has a unique understanding of the business community and capital sector in Japan. He joined Shenzhen Capital Group in 2001.

Mr. Anping SHI: Vice President, Secretary-General of the Investment Committee
Educational Background: Xi'an Jiaotong University, Ph.D in Industrial Economics, post-doctoral work at Fudan University
Professional Qualifications: Worked in state-owned commercial banks as various department heads, and a large number of medium-sized enterprises in executives and business management roles. Dr. SHI has extensive experience in Information Technology and Network Engineering. He is also an experienced financial practitioner. He has extensive investment, decision-making management and fund management experience, and led a number of successful investment projects and exits. He joined Shenzhen Capital Group in 2001.

Mr. Lian ZHONG: Vice President
Educational Background: China University of Technology, Masters in Computer Science.
Professional Qualifications: Came to Shenzhen Capital Group from the National Development & Reform Commision (NDRC), the China government body which directs government policy and economic investment and price control regulations. In his role at the NDRC in Shenzhen he was in head of the technology department. He has extreme familiarity with the high-tech industry, industrial policy, project management, and fund management experience. Mr. ZHONG chaired a number of government high-tech and industrial projects, including the biomedical industry in Shenzhen, digital television, VLSI packaging and testing. He joined SCG in 2008.

Mr. Rongzhi LIU: Chief Financial Officer
Educational Background: Jinan University, Masters in Accounting
Professional Qualifications: Mr. LIU is a senior financial management specialist with more than two decades in the government's financial management of state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises and listed companies. In his previous role he was the CFO of Yantian Port Group, the 2nd largest deep-water container port in china. Mr. LIU came to SCG in 2008.

Mr. Chris R. BURCH: Chief Investment Officer
Educational Background: Tsinghua University, MBA.
Professional Qualifications: IT Systems Engineer for the Home Depot and Delta Airlines, 14 years working in Chinese owned companies, of which 8 years were engaged in direct investment. Mr. BURCH cofounded a small venture capital fund, China Technology Ventures in 2000. He joined SCG in 2005.

Mr. Wanlin ZHANG: Secretary-General of the Risk Control Committee
Educational Background: Xinjiang Institute of Finance and Economics, Masters in Statistics, Beijing School of Economics, Masters in Economics
Professional Qualifications: State Ministry of Information & Industry designated Technology Leader. Mr. ZHANG has a wealth of management experience in managing listed companies such as President of China Hi-Tech Group, Chairman of Shenzhen SEG McCurry, Director of Shenzhen SEG Co., Director and Vice-President of Voice Tatsu, Vice-President of Shenzhen Kangwo Electrical Technology, and President of Yantai Hualian Development Group. Mr. ZHANG joined SCG in 2004.

Mr. Hanxin ZHONG: Head of Audit & Supervision
Educational Background: Jiangxi Institute of Finance and Economics, Masters in Accounting
Professional Qualifications: CPA and Senior Accountant, proficient in financial management, financing, tax planning, and capital operations. Mr. ZHONG served as a director of a listed company and has been involved in the operation and management of domestic and foreign listed companies. He specializes in business analysis and financial diagnostics. Mr. ZHONG presided over the financial due-dillgence and risk control of numerous venture investment projects. He joined SCG in 2001.

Mr. Xia LI: Head of Research
Educational Background: Hong Kong University of Science and Engineering, Ph.D in Finance
Professional Qualifications: Dr. LI previously worked at the Cheng Kong School of Business Management, Shenzhen International Hi-Tech Property Rights Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and the China Rural Development Trust and Investment Corporation holding important posts and with a wealth of financial engineering, intellectual property rights, stock market, and venture capital fund operation. Dr. LI is now responsible for venture capital development strategy, new business planning, and post-doctoral workstation management. He joined the firm in 2004.

Ms. Yan JIN: Head of the Investment Department
Educational Background: Harbin University of Science and Technology, Masters in Engineering
Professional Qualifications: Her 15-year venture capital, investment banking, and corporate management experience covers more than 20 investment projects, involving consumer electronics, new materials, the Internet, and innovative services industries. Ms. JIN also serves as a leader of China’s Democratic National Construction Party, a political party seperate from the Communist Party of China. She is currently a legislative member of the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Ms. Jin is also a cofounder of Shenzhen Capital Group.

Ms. Yumei TAO: Head of the International Department
Educational Background: Nanjing University, Masters in Literature.
Professional Qualifications: She has 15 years of corporate finance and venture capital work, including time at CITIC Shenzhen, Dresdner Bank, and Societe Generale. Ms. TAO is responsible for over a dozen investment cases including many of the Nasdaq and NYSE listed portfolio companies of SCG. She joined the firm in 1999.

Ms. Qiong ZHANG: Assistant Secretary-General of the Risk Control Committee
Educational Background: Anhui University, Masters in Law, former Associate Law Professor Anhui University
Professional Qualifications: Ms. ZHANG is mainly responsible for project investment risk control work, assessment of projects and legal drafting. In her time with the firm she has reviewed more than 600 legal investment documents. She has accumulated a wealth of business legal experience with high-tech enterprises, financial institutions, and legal practice management. She joined in 1999.

Mr. Shouyu LI: General Manager of the Zhengzhou city fund
Educational Background: Nankai University, Masters in Economics.
Professional Qualifications: Cofounder of SCG, Mr. LI owns more than a decade of experience in IPO planning, corporate mergers, capital operation, and venture capital investment. Mr. LI is a cofounder of SCG.

Mr. Yushun YIN: General Manager of the Shanghai and the Zhejiang Province funds
Educational Background: Fudan University, Ph.D. in Economics, former Professor at Chongqing University of Technology and Business and at the Central University of Finance and Economics
Professional Qualifications: Head of the People's Bank of China’s Research Department, He also served as the Chief Economist at the Securities Research Institute of Fudan University and as a Senior Fellow at Peking University’s Venture Capital Research Center. Dr. YIN joined SCG in 2002.

Mr. Li DU: General Manager of Shandong Province’s city funds
Educational Background: Chinese Academy of Science, Ph.D. in Physics, Technische Universität Berlin (Germany), visiting scholar.
Professional Qualifications: Dr. DU is specialized in optical, electronic, and mechanical manufacturing. At the Changchun Institute of Technology Dr. DU worked as an engineer. Dr. DU also served as a Research Fellow, on academic committees, and Deputy Director of Research at the Chinese Academy of Science. While at SCG he led more than 20 investment projects. He joined in 1999.

Mr. Liang DENG: General Manager of Pingxiang city fund
Educational Background: Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Ph.D in Materials Science
Professional Qualifications: Before joining SCG Dr. DENG worked at Pingan Securities and Guosen Securities as a Senior Fellow, engaged in work related to the investment into and the issuance of shares for high-tech companies. Dr. DENG is deeply familiar with the capital markets, has a wealth of investment banking, direct investment and project management experience. Dr. DENG joined in 2000.

Professional Qualifications: Mr. MA has seven years of large-scale state-owned-enterprise work experience. At Shaanxi Qin Enterprise Group Mr. MA was a Project Manager. Professional Qualifications: He worked as an analyst for the Canton Railway Bureau and Changsha Railway. At Nanfang Securities Research Institute Mr. LIU specialized in the capital markets dynamics, enterprise management, and venture capital. Mr. LIU joined SCG in 2001.

Mr. Bo SHENG: General Manager of Nantong city fund
Educational Background: Nanjing University, MBA
Professional Qualifications: Mr. SHENG’s background is as a software engineer. He also served as Director to two local Shenzhen companies and has extensive investment and corporate governance practice. At present, he has led investment into 11 companies. Mr. SHENG joined SCG in 1999.

Mr. Gang LIU: General Manager of Beijing city fund
Educational Background: Chinese People’s University, MBA
Professional Qualifications: In year 2000 Mr. LIU participated in the creation of venture capital team at Xiangcai Securities as Vice-President of its venture capital company. After 4 years at Xiangcai he went to study his MBA and then joined SCG. Mr. LIU is responsible for the investment and management of more than 10 projects. Mr. LIU joined SCG in 2006.

Mr. Jianbin MENG: General Manager of Zhongshan city fund
Educational Background: Zhongshan University, Masters in Economics
Professional Qualifications: Mr. MENG has decades of equities experience. He worked as Nanfang Securities, Deputy Director and Chief of their Development Research Center, and at Shenyin Wanguo Securities as President of the South China region. He joined SCG in 1999.

Mr. Xiang XU: General Manager of Chongqing city fund, Chengdu city fund
Educational Background: Tsinghua University,
Professional Qualifications: Previous employers include Shenzhen SEG Hitachi Color Display Devices, the China National Cereals, Oils & Foodstuffs Import & Export Group, and Chongqing Science and Technology Ventures. Mr. XU has lead numerous investment projects. He joined SCG in 2006.

Mr. Qing YU: General Manager of Tianjin city fund
Educational Background: Wuhan University, MBA
Professional Qualifications: Prior to joining SCG he worked at Shenzhen Development Bank and Junan Securities engaged in credit and investment banking. Mr. YU worked on the issuance and allotment of new shares as part of the underwriting process. Mr. YU joined in 1999.

Mr. Zhihong TAO: Senior Investment Manager
Educational Background: Nanjing University, Ph.D. in Mathmatics, University of Paderborn (Germany) post-doctoral research, University of Waterloo (Canada), visiting scholar.
Professional Qualifications: Involved in IT and telecom networking businesses for 18 years and responsible for the successful implementation of over 75 large and medium-sized IT projects. Dr. TAO joined the group in 2004.

Mr. He Guosen: Senior Investment Manager

Professional Qualifications: Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Institute of Medicine researcher. Dr. HE has 13 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and development experience in the fields of anti-cancer drugs, biological materials, cancer gene therapy applications using the Cationic gene vector, enzyme chemistry, and drug delivery technology. Dr. He led many of the recent life sciences investments and joined the firm in 2006.

Mr. Wanjun TANG: Senior Investment Manager
Educational Background: Sun Yat-sun University, Masters in Philosophy
Professional Qualifications: Philip-Morris Asia Inc, Shenzhen Media Group television show producer, Caijing Magazine (the Chinese equivalent of THE ECONOMIST) Assistant Editor and Asia-Pacific Economic Times, the Editor. His early years were spent engaged in China’s consumer goods market, doing marketing and business analysis. Mr. TANG also has many years in broadcast and print media content production and operation management. He served in domestic television organizations, business publications and newspapers in senior positions. Mr. TANG joined in 2006.
